Ministry Teams

Church of Our Saviour is a vibrant community with many ways for people to serve the church and the greater community. To learn more about any of the ministry opportunities, please contact the church office.

Parish Life

Hospitality is one of our hallmarks. This team is one of the busiest, planning coffee hour, picnics, retreats, and fellowship within our common life.

Formation

This teams focus is on adult, youth and children’s formation including education, programs, nursery and youth group.

Pastoral Care

For those called to pastoral ministry, this team, assists the rector with pastoral visits, as well as prayer list and prayer chains.

Cemetery

The Cemetery Committee oversees the church cemetery and works in relationship with the vestry on cemetery matters.

Building & Grounds

This team, under the leadership of the junior warden, is responsible for maintain the building and grounds.

Finance

The Finance team offers financial advice and guidance to the vestry in terms of budgets and oversight.

Special Events

This team, in coordination with others, plans and coordinates, special church events such as the church Bazaar , summer music concerts, and Brunswick Stew sales.

Worship

Lay persons are among the ministers of the church. This team works to coordinate and train those involved in worship services, as well as liturgical and music planning.

Vision & Stewardship

Where is God calling us? How are we being faithful stewards to the many gifts God has given us? These are some of the questions this team seeks to answer. Newcomers, stewardship and annual giving are also part of its ministry.

Outreach

The outreach team has two principal ministries: the Wood Ministry and the Garden Ministry. The church also serves alongside other mission partners in the community including with Habitat for Humanity, CARITAS, WHEAT, and local schools.
