Daily Prayer

Daily prayer is at the heart and history of Episcopal worship. What we call the Daily Offices are the center of daily public worship. The Book of Common Prayer includes forms for Daily Morning Prayer, Daily Evening Prayer, Noonday Prayer, Order of Worship for the Evening, Compline, and Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families. The officiant in the Daily Office may be a member of the clergy or a lay person.

Here at Our Saviour we gather for Daily Morning Prayer every Wednesday morning at 8:30 am. On the fifth Sunday of each month at 10 am, Morning Prayer with music is the principal services of the day. During the season of Lent, we join together on Wednesday evenings for Evening Prayer, and at other times during the year, we will gather for other daily offices, including Noonday Prayer and Compline.
