About
At Church of Our Saviour, we seek to live out God’s commands to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our life of faith is grounded by Sunday morning Eucharist and the other liturgies of the Episcopal tradition. We worship God with a humble and joyful heart and strive to build a loving Christian community through worship, service and a commitment to fellowship and learning. Our congregation’s mission is to embody the love of Jesus Christ and to encourage all to grow spiritually in love and grace.
Our History
Located on Route 33 in the village of Montpelier, our church was founded in 1882 as part of St. Martin’s Parish in Hanover County, Virginia.
Clergy & Staff
We are currently led by our Rector, Emily Judin Krudys, and Music Director, Jane Barthurst.
Our Vestry
Elected by the congregation, the Vestry is our governing board that oversees matters of finance, property and maintenance.
Our Cemetery
We encourage you to enjoy our historic cemetery during the hours of sunrise through sunset when it is open to the public.
